"‘Teach Yourself the Elements of the Mɛnde Language’ (Bia’ekpé Gaa A Mɛnde Yie Ye-mbuisia) has been developed based on the pattern of texts in other old languages, such as Hebrew and Greek. Accordingly, the student will discover that this book is a good resource for improving on the learning of basic English. The book is written predominantly in the ‘Sewama Mɛnde’ dialect with a few harmonizations into the ‘Kɔɔ Mɛnde’ dialect. Harmonization into the ‘Kpaahn Mɛnde’ and ‘Wanjama Mɛnde’ dialects was not done; instead, it was left for the teacher to do. However, the Mɛnde in this book is good enough to allow beginners to develop their mastery of the Mɛnde language."
